Giulia Negri Barolo La Tartufaia 2016

I was lucky enough to find a few bottles of this wine, and I want to share them: this Barolo by Giulia Negri represents a significant achievement, certainly due to the blessed vintage it comes from, but also to Giulia's personality. She is a woman who, in just a few years of Nebbiolo winemaking for Barolo, has reached great heights. I have followed Giulia Negri's journey and have been fortunate to drink her wines many times, always finding great elegance but also a pleasing breadth of flavor, a sign that the high-altitude vineyards (above 400 meters above sea level) have an extra gear.
