Vietti Barolo 2021 is, as always, the perfect thermometer for understanding how the vintage fared in Barolo: on one hand, there's the technical expertise of a historic winery like Vietti, and on the other, there's the body of Nebbiolo vineyards for Barolo that very few wineries can boast. The 2021 vintage is a classic one, with a regular growing season, yielding intense and still somewhat tight wines, certainly suitable for cellaring.
